In the Ortofon 2M series, the magnet that is the key to the magnetic circuit is placed on the straight line of the cantilever, the distance from the pole pin that is evenly placed on the left and right is fixed at a delicate position, and the movement of the stylus chip is performed by using a cylindrical magnet. It is a mechanism that faithfully converts to a signal. The magnetic circuit of this completed moving magnet unique to Ortofon is adopted in all 2M series.
