Artisan mouthpiece was evoked and realized by the success of Artisan trumpet which was developed based on the design from the 1920s. The shape, tone and response of the Artisan mouthpiece is reminiscent of the initial back mouthpiece. The trumpet modeled on the design in the early 1920's, the cornet was modeled in the middle of the 1950s when Vincent back personally liked, and Trombone is modeled in the 1910s and 50s. Each mouthpiece uses a specially selected throat and back bore to reproduce the characteristics of the time. The special handcrafted leather mouthpiece pouch is a model restored to what Vincent back loved.
