Distortion pedal that uses a real vacuum tube for a real sound Many pedals simulate the distortion of a vacuum tube. However, we have achieved a real sound by using a real tube. The heart of the design is the US-made 6205 preamp vacuum tube from NOS (New Old Stock). With tight controls, unique levels and boosts, and a switchable boost onboard, the 3-band EQ makes it easy to get the sound you want. The MTG Tube Distortion, co-designed with Bruce Igniter, is a completely original fender circuit. We asked musicians to use it and get their feedback to refine it to make sure it would work. The housing is made of lightweight, sturdy anodized aluminum material. Jewel LEDs, reminiscent of a fender amp, give your pedalboard the traditional fender look.
